There is a lot of industrial areas around Albuquerque popping up with all of the contruction going on since it is one of the fastest growing areas in the U.S. The water tank was one of my first successes with light painting. The yellow sky is caused by the city 's ambient light bouncing off the low cloud layer. I really like this shot because it looks like a theatre set. The next two are the Trigas refinery. I was going for a Depeche Mode, Blasphemous Rumors feel on these. The last is another refinery off of I-40 on the outskirts of Albuquerque on Route 66.
