Fulton has a special place in my heart. A great friend of mine and his family had owned a small house here that had been passed down through generations. We spent quite a few 4th of July holidays at this house with him and his extended family slothing, fishing and eating much good food.. My wife and I even became engaged in the house. We all love Rockport/Fulton a lot and try to get there as often as we can. Even though the house no longer belongs to the family it still stands there on the corner of Cactus and Fulton Beach Rd. These pictures were taken on our most recent trip in July, 2006. The deck you see belongs to Cheryl of Cheryl's by the Bay. She is an outstanding artist and her restaurant is well worth the stop if you get a chance (I recommend the avocado and cheddar sandwich.) The Boiling Pot is another "must eat," it's good, reasonbly priced and they just throw the food on your table, lierally. All you get to eat with is a wooden mallet, a bib and a roll of napkins. It's sloppy, informal, the waitresses are all way hot and the food is great. Hu-Dat is the restaurant run by the family of Dat Nguyen of the Dallas Cowboys. It's great grub, good prices and they are super nice. All pictures in this gallery were taken within a 1 mile span on Fulton Beach Rd.
